I've just purchased and installed Calendar Planner on a site running the JoomlArts Uber template. I've checked all the basics but the menu above the monthly calendar is having a few issues (please see attached screenshot). Also no dates are appearing, I've been through the Forum and a similar issue was identified by another user and related to the template loading jQuery and then Calendar Planner trying to do the same. I'd appreciate a hand here if someone can point to solutions for these issues...

0Hello Alasdair,
The problem is that you have te site in the subfolder steelscape/.
If you take a look at the installation instructions for Calendar Planner ( http://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/calendar-planner/installation ), you will see on the fifth point that if your website root is located in a subfolder of your main site URL, you will need to specify this subfolder's name in the Calendar Planner - System plugin options.
In your case, in the URL subfolder field you will need to write /steelscape
Please, tell me if that works,

0Hello again,
Ok, this problem is now a css problem.
This happens because your template is adding some padding and making the buttons larger.
If you want, I can solve it via ftp.
If you want, you can send me ftp access to joan@ joomlathat.com and I will solve it changing a little the css of Calendar Planner to make it look good in your template.

0Hi Joan,
Thanks for your effort to resolve the CSS issues but there are still some quite major problems particularly when viewed from devices other than a PC. A responsive interface is critical to my clients requirement and at the moment there is no way that I can put this extension forward to them rendering as it does on smaller screens. I'm open to the possibility that I've missed something obvious but if I can't get it to display effectively on handheld devices it's simply not going to be usable for this project.

0Hello Alasdair,
The problem seems to be an incompatibility due to different version of Bootstrap used by Calendar Planner and your template.
If you want to give it one more try, we can try to work out the CSS issues (we will need a bit of time, one day or two) and make it look good on your template.
Otherwise, if you feel like the component will not fit well, there's no problem cancelling your subscription if you want. -

0Hi,
I've been liaising with the client for this site and I don't think that we're going to be able to use the Calendar Planner due to the CSS issues with the templates we are running. I've had a go but I can't iron out all the issues to get it to present cleanly enough for the client. In this instance I'd like to take advantage of your offer to cancel my subscription for the product.
I do though want to thank you for your efforts to resolve the issues and your very prompt response to my questions. I would have no hesitation in looking at the product again in the future.

Germinal Campsmore than a month agoNo problem, it's done! I hope we can work together again in the future! all the best.
