Events Module Conflict On Homepage

No matter where I publish the events module on the homepage I have noticed that it seems to "squish" the content for some reason. And there are repeating icons again, this time they show up in the slideshow arrows area and the scroll to top button at the bottom right of the site.

Any ideas?

    Hello Leonard,

    I can see the repeating icons. This is happening due to a css conflict between the template and the component.
    I you want, you can send me ftp access to joan@ joomlathat.com and I will try to solve it adapting a little bit our component's css to your template.

    About the squished content, I am looking at the module IMPORTANT TAX DATES (2). The error is here? I don't really understand what you mean. What is being squished? The calendar containing the month and day for each event? This can also be solved via css.
