403 error on install calendar planner + item not visible

Hi,

I want to use the calendar version on http://rcwebdesign.be/calendarextension/.
The joomla version is 3.3.3.

If I try to install the com_calendarplanner_1.0.0_pro_3.0.zip file I get a 403 forbidden error.
Installing the plugin plg_calendarplanner_1.0.0_3.0.zip is succesfull (I know I must install the com... file first, but as mentioned I can't install the com...file).

I tried installing both files (first the com... file, secondly the plg... file) on a testsite, there both installations are succesfull. However on this testsite, the date and calendar item aren't displayed (as you can see in the image attached), although I followed your installation instructions correctly.

Can you please help me solving those problems?

    This looks like maybe a permission problem on your joomla installation, otherwise the Forbidden error would not appear.

    do you have problems installing other components? (maybe the components folder is not writtable?)

    Hi,

    I don't know what's wrong. On the test site I've got the same version of joomla and there it works. Only the item isn't displayed on the site as you can see in the attachment. You can find the images in attachment.

    Any idea?

    have you installed and properly setted the main "system" plugin? it looks like this could be the issue. is your installation on a subfolder of the main URL?
    if the answer is YES, then there is the issue.

    Yes I did (see attachment)

    The calendar is placed on http://localhost:8888/zoo/index.php/kalender
    My joomla installation is located in the folder zoo
    That's why I put /zoo as URL subfolder.

    Isn't this correct?

    that's good. then it must be something else..

    any javascript shows up in the javascript console? (for example if you use google chrome)

    thanks. can you access the URL (see your screenshot, on the right)
    if you click on it you will see a page and probably an error in it. if you can tell me this error I'll tell you what's failing..

    Clicking on the first url doesn't return a page. See attachments. Apparently there can't be made connection with the server localhost.

    try to open it but replace the "&" in the URL for simply "&"

    if you still can't open.. I really don't know what's causing the issue. there must be some bad setting in this local installation. is there any chance you can try this on a live server so I can access it?

    I tested it on a live server for 2 hosts, for one it works, I'll contact the other.
    I'll come back to you if I can't solve it, for now it's ok.
