Version 2 rocks!

Hey Germi,

This version is astounding! The upgrade went like a breeze and everything works as expected. I LOVE the new features and the super fast adding of albums. That is so cool.

For anyone who is hesitating, don't. Unless you've done some serious hacking or CSS editing, you'll have no problems and in any case, the new version is worth the effort of doing a bit more to make it fit perfectly into your website. Personally my tweaks were very minor ones and everything more or less fitted beautifully.

Just be warned, it is radically different and better than any previous version so there is a modest learning curve to deal with. However, for what you're getting it is more than worth the time and effort and you'll save so much more time by using the added features of Version 2. I reckon it takes less than a third of the time to add an album than it did previously and I aim to get better.

So far I've not managed to bulk upload music files via MC but that's probably me not doing something right. The other problem I have is exclusively with IE (spit) which doesn't display the album at the foot of the Artist page properly (screenshot attached) so any ideas about this would be welcome. The best thing I can say about IE is that it lets me grab playlists from Amazon and drop them into a spreadsheet. Otherwise it sucks. All the other browsers work perfectly.

As for Version 2 of MC - WOW! Germi, you're a star and thanks for making a nice website into a fantastic one. Couldn't have done it without you.

    Sorry Germi,

My screenshot was too big so wasn't sent - trying again but don't worry too much. I know it isn't a problem with MC because IE does weird stuff, even with compatibility turned on but MC works perfectly with Firefox, Safari, Opera and even Chrome. Nevertheless it might help anyone else who has the same problem.

Still working with the new features - amazing how much easier to add albums now and it's become a pleasure. Version 2 is definitely worth more money and I don't know of anything else that comes anywhere closeto doing the job. Well done.

Looks like you just need to increase your template dimensions..
But if your using an older version of IE than 7+ that could be the problem as well.
An IEcss fix file could also fix this as well..
