How can I have the Joomla Search Module to search only on albums??
this option exists on the result page as option but how can I get it alone on a module to put on my front page?

how did I miss that??
That enough for now.
But in the future I would love to have a search area and a radio button or drop down menu to chose artist or song that I can use on the front page.
I don't need all the other option on the front page.
In other world. search album or song only.
Thanks a lot -

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Hoping germi makes some plugins to allow the default joomla search to be able to search for artist or song within mc, much like he has for the album plugin. If so this will probably be a lot easier as it can then use most of the search plugins/mods for joomla.
Would be nice to have a simple search that shows up at the top of all pages with a text search field and a drop down to limit it to searching in "all", "artists", "albums", or "songs". Then have all the extra search fields on just one page for a user to use when they want to do an advance search. I have something kinda similar, leaving all the advance search fields on my mc home page and then using the bars module to display the search fields on all pages. But I don't have it all nice and consolidated, so it shows a bunch of fields, instead of a nice tiny 2 fields on a single line.
