I was wondering if it's possible to remove the "artist" level so that users can upload songs to an album without specifying an artist?

Alternatively, is it possible to remove the "album" level so that users upload songs directly under an artist without creating an album?

I ask because I run a JomSocial site and the members are the artists. It would be preferable for the members to just create 1 "level" and upload songs into that. Currently it's a bit redundant to create a Jomsocial account, then an artist, then an album to upload the songs.
