0Apple, err Steve Jobs, is an adobe flash hater. So they will not allow any flash to be displayed on their products. The current version of MC uses an older jw flash player. That player will not show up on the iphone because it is flash. Germi has mentioned that he will be updating to the latest jw player in the next release. If he does this, then it should work on the iphone. The new jw player supports both flash and html5. If flash is not supported on the device which is viewing the page then it automatically falls back to html5.
Germi,
Have you seen that longtail just updated their jw player to 5.6?

Looks like it adds better support for HD youtube videos as well as it will now display the youtube videos that use ad support that were previously blocked. Will this coming update support this latest player? At a quick glance it looks like the code should be the same if you were already writing it for the 5.5.x -

0yes, I saw JWplayer 5.6
it will be used on the update.
however, the HTML5 player of jwplayer is still missing a lot of features (you can see taht on longtail's page), like playlists.
so I had to actually construct the HTML5 player myself.
I have already done firsts tests with iPad and iPhone, all works good.
I'll have a beta for you to test as soon as this afternoon, or maybe tomorrow morning!
