Is there a way to center the images notice the amount of white space left over. And I was looking for file to change color of the module background i don't see it for this or any other module.

And also along with changing color is that same area if i want to change modules shape? They are box shaped i want to round them out or remove.

you can change all this on the module layout:

/modules/mod_muscol_featured_artists/tmpl/profile.php

and in the CSS file, mainly /components/com_muscol/assets/artist_detailed.css

ok great i went to RECENTLY ADDED ARTISTS to edit css i changed background and text but now when i hover over the artist name text its black same color as background and i don't see where to change that in the css file

you can just add a new property!
a :hover property, I mean.

I changed the color but i still can't figure out where in /components/com_muscol/assets/artist_detailed.css to make the modules corners round. Is this where i would go to make all or is each separate?

but you mean the "global" module corner? not the "inside" of it?
in this case, this is a feature of your TEMPLATE, not music collection. so it's something your template maybe offers... or probably not.
