I was having problems getting any playlist to be set as current without selecting and then refreshing the page. I always received the '...not valid XML file' message. After searching the forum I found that a possible cause was the default Joomla SEF. However, I was not using SEF - had it set to no in the backend configuration. On a whim I decided to install the ARTIO SEF component in hopes that would resolve the issue. Luckily, Germi has provided an MC extension for ARTIO (free I might add - thanks, Germi), so I installed it. (Unfortunately, I had to pay for the MyBlog extension)
That seemed to correct the issue. I can now select a playlist and it will appear in the player without having to do a refresh and without the '...valid XML...' message.
Then I tried to set the On-the-go playlist as current. I again get the '...not valid XML file' message. If I manually refresh the page, the On-the-go playlist shows correctly.
I tried the same sequence on the MC demo playlist and all works well there. The On-the-go playlist loads correctly. without the manual refresh.
I then compared the page source files for the MC demo page and my page and they look the same in the area of the playlist information and the javascript command sets the current playlist to 0 for the On-the-go playlist.
What or where should I look next to resolve this issue with the On-the-go playlist?
Thanks - David
