Music Collection is already very flexible and amazing how it handles complex situations, such as box sets and compilations. I have a couple of more suggestions, that could be great features in the future.


1. Lyrics search - Ideally incorporated into the Song search option; matching songs will be returned even if only a partial word is entered, as the song search does now.


2. Multiple Formats (Multiple Select and/or Copy) - In the demo, I see that albums across multiple formats are handled via two separate entries, so that they appear in the appropriate format search, and can retain information that might be specific to each version. I wanted to suggest ways to streamline the process:

[li]"Copy album" button - create a duplicate of an existing album, with the same attributes and sample files as the original. The duplicate can still be edited to reflect bonus tracks, different album art, etc, however.[/li]

AND/OR

[li]Multiple Select Formats - Ideally treated as an "Other available formats..." which functions similar to the Related Artist feature.

Could work without copy button, for individual entries whose attributes are the same from format to format, so that the album still shows up in appropriate searches. And could also be used with the copy button, so that alternate versions are always seen, like Related Artists.

[I know different album versions already show up in a general search by title... but this method would also catch situations where a song search is performed for a bonus track appearing on one album version, but not another. ][/li]
