Hello germi,
Just a small thing which I would like to see in MC. Something which I have been trying to have on my website.
When you create a menu item for MC, can we have an option where we can show the latest added artists?
Because now, the page looks very empty only with the search bars, until you click on any of the alphabets. So by default if we can see some 10 latest artists, it would be nice.
Also, a random artist module will be really great. I was using a random article module because every artist page was a seperate article in my website. But now, I cannot do that as I'm using MC.
Thanks

0I'll try to add some feature so the landing MC page doesn't look too empty
I think the best option would be allow content plugins in this landing page, so you can, for instance, hav "{loadposition X}", wich would load the modules of the position X, these being "latest albums", or artists, or whatever

0sure. this is a Joomla native feature my friend!
joomla provides a content plugin called "load module" that allows you to load ANY module inside a content article. for instance, you can put into an article..
{loadposition user2}
and joomla will display all modules you have on position user2. of course, if any of this module is a MC module (eg random album, latest added, top rated...), you'll have a MC module inside a content!
isn't it great? :lol: -

0the name of the plugin is "Content - Load Module" and its included on joomla distribution
Dalcielo: to make just one module appear, the best you can do is create a position exclusively for that module.
try to use a position you havent used (user3 or user4, MAYBE), or, if you have already used al positions, just create a new one (on the file templateDetails.xml, on your template folder)

0i tried it it didn't work the {loadposition x}. because I was trying to put a slideshow so the slide show i got was a module and i used the {loadposition x} and even the Modules in content plugin by nonumber. It won't show the module so i searched JED and I was able to find a slideshow that was a plugin. it's not exactly the slidesho that i wanted to use but it's working! and that's the best thing. So for my next suggesttion: How about processing modules for FULL customization? Thanks Germi! And i'll play with the css. I hope when upgrading, it doesn't replace the modified css. Thanks! Great component. -
