I just purchased MC. I will develop plugin for XMAP! Give me several days, but if it is not complicated, depends on tables. Maybe tonight .

i am adding a link to the develope api for jomsocial and how to load apps into the profile pages and such it should help with this integration. if you need help with funds for this let me know and i will help, i would love to to see this used how say myspace lets people choose songs that goto the playlist using the player they have.

I think a good module for jomsocial would be a "My Top x Albums" or "Top x Songs".

Users could have a button next ot the album view and can choose to add the album/ song to their list.
The administration of the module should allow different top x settings and allow users to delete songs for updating their lists.

I wish I was a developer. I too could use integration into Joomla Social. If anyone needs a donation to make it happen, I'll gladly donate.

That would be the plugin of all plugins to complete my site especially since jomsocial is 1.2 now. It is such a cool component.

Your idea is very good davidtbaron, but think you can only see the albums on your profile administrador.En the profile of users is not possible because of time MScomponent not have the option of adding content by users.

I also want a plugin for my Jomsocial, where users can submit and publish their products and at the same time that it can be seen in its perfil.Pero moment nothing is created.

I've been waiting for a Jomsocial plugin for my website too. And it will be really awesome if members could create their band profiles in the website and any changes made should come in the JomSocial wall.

Hope that happens some day. It'll be a dream come true for me :-)

I like JomSocial's atmosphere, but if i don't "HAVE" to spend the money to have it work and your putting much of thier features in the newer version of Music Collection, then there will be no need for me to buy it..

MC 2.0 will be compatible with jomsocial. that does not mean that you need jomsocial to make MC run. it's just a plus.

That would be very neat indeed!

It would also be nice, if groups could be connected to artists or genres.

Maybe even add an artist or album as favorite to the profile?!
You could add a heart icon on the artist or album page to fav them easily, just like on last.fm
