Under the current version, it is still a bit difficult to add new songs to the list. It would be a great addition to the component with the option to add a mass of mp3s with no dashes via ftp and auto populate like Zina, http://www.pancake.org/zina.
In my opinion this is more of an ideal component for retail stores where all album info and price are required.
For some of us, we mainly use it as a jukebox so these info do not pertain to our needs.
Just my thought.

0yeah about the options like pricing, currency etc, the poster is right and i agree. We actually don't need too much info for our music collection. Just the name of the album, artist, genre and the date. Because it actually not some of us but most of us and our visitors only want to hear the song and not wanna see unnecessary infos like the ones i mentioned. -

0in version 1.0.1, now you can hide the album details via parameter. I agree, not everybody needs so much information, so now you can choose to display it or not
about user interface to add songs etc, thats something really much "difficult". I mean, not difficult, but it will take a lot of hours of work to do that. I am considering/planning to include this on the next MAJOR release, but for now, only admins can add and manage songs and albums -

0I know this is a lot of work, but i have to stress, option like zina to add bulk of music files (scan folders, something like RokDownloads) and to add ability of uploading music files is necessary in the light of social networks and combination MC with JomSocial. So, please work on the major version of MC. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! -
