to be honest is not even on our list, but you are RIGHT when you say it's one of the best options for comments out there. I actually didn't know Disqus untill some months ago.

Regarding Disqus...
I have added some artists and have tested some comment additions.

On one of the artists I have 2 "Top Commentors" appear - it seems out of nowhere. After tracing them, they come from a website outside from mine and are over 3 years old. They also do not appear in the Backend of MC. These comments cannot be deleted from the backend...

Any ideas why they appear and how to delete them.

#-1 I also found no Disqus Modules or Plugins to disable. Can Disqus be disabled...?

#-2 If Disqus is disabled, will I lose MC commenting capability...?

#-3 Can the Backlink to Disquss be hidden...?

this is a bit strange. we provide a plugin to use Disqus as a comment system. this "top commentors" is nothing we have done to the plugin, it must be a thing on Disqus...

yes you can disable disqus if you disable the plugin.. but thewn of course those comments won't show.

In addition to the above problem...

When going to the outside site, the comment is logged as having been posted 1 day ago...not 9.

1. Is there another comment system, in MC, besides Disqus...?
2. Can the "Community" portion of Disqus be disabled...?
3. Do you see a quick resolution or work-around...?
4. Can the Linkback to Disqus be disabled...?
