I had this ages ago. The first generation was just install and go this seems better but a bit tricky?
Can I use an editor of my choice for the text fields? ie JCE
Can the text field be the full width of the page or has it got to be tiny as in your example?
Can say the reviews be done in K2 and this be spmehow used as the text in the text field?
Does it work with joomla 3.1.4 and jomsocial 3?

yes you can use any editor.
text field: well if you arrange a bit the album layout (for instance) you can render it in a different position so it takes the full length. just small HTML adjustments necessary, no biggy.
K2 reviews: no, that's not possible... I guess a custom import function could be created for you,but this is not available out of the box.
yes it works with those version (by the way, joomla 3.1.4 is NOT recommended even by joomla, it has lots of bugs, you may want to use 3.1.5 which was released today)
