Beinm me absolutely out of this OAUTH - i have only understood that it cant be used for third party.... right?

As you have implement that , maybe you know this problem - yes for a single user , but how can be used for a community if it is not for third party?

Can i use that as every use was "me" or this fight with discogs policies?

Have you any suggestion o can you help me with a built code for my specified problem?

I'm not sure to understand your question. OAuth is the protocol to connect using Music Collection backend to retrieve albums data. that's all. you don't need to worry more about it...

I have only understood that it cant be used for third party.... due to discogs policies (i risk to have my account banned and i sell a lot inside discogs, i cant risk that)

So do you think it can be used for third party , and for every user of my community?

I can't help you. I don't understand you. sorry. discogs in music collection is NOT used by "every user in your community" as you say, only YOU the admin can use it. that's ALL.

oh, additionally I'm seeing that you are using music collection on joomla 1.5... that is a very (VERY) old version.

the latest discogs OAUTH upgrades are only available in joomla 2.5. and 3.0

lately i had some problems with DB
Provider told me that there is a muscol tab

jos_muscol_statistics

that had 13.000.000 of records.
They told that this tab has not any use for the site work, and that sure it id generated by muscol for statistic data.

Has really this tab any use , and if yesn , how can i disable its creation and growing?

Hello,

you should definitely EMPTY this table.

this table is for recording statistics, but even if you use it (looks like you are not), it should be cleaned from time to time.

you can stop recording stats if you go to Music Collection options and in the Statistics tab set to NO everything.

i can't see any Statistic tab inside my muscol Preferences tab

I'm seeing that you are using Joomla 1.5.. very old version. can you make a screenshot of your Parameters window in Music Collection?
