When I scan folders from the backend to create albums all of the files show up correctly and I am able quickly create albums. However, I seem to need to re add all of the mp3 files in order to get the songs to play and download from the frontend. All of the songs that are uploaded from the frontend via individual users work properly. I have already added the folders by artist/album/songs via ftp to the /songs folder and everything should be ready to go. Please let me know what I need to do.

I'm not sure to understand: the scan goes OK but the song doesn't play?

Yes, when i go to auto scan an album it loads everything properly and creates the album page on the frontend but the songs will not play and the download feature also does not work. All albums that are uploaded individually function properly it is just songs imported through the fast album scan.

can you please create one of those albums, and send me the link? (I mean, don't fix the songs, let me see them the way they are created)

    Hi Germi,

I figured out what was causing the issue, I did not realize that you can not edit the song title after the album is already uploaded to server. Unfortunately all of my music is saved with the track number attached to the song name, so the song number shows up twice on the frontend. But i will juts edit the songs first and re upload them to server and everything should work fine.

    Cheers,
    Matt
