The player is missing after I click a song in the " recently added song " list.
However, I am able to see it if I go directly to the song page for an album.
How do I get the player to show up ?

I check the $multi and it is set to false.
I also matched up the itemids and that worked!!
I can see the player now.
However, when I did that, the active page changed to one I have for the album list.
I wanted the focus to stay on the page were I have the songs listed.
How can I do that?

0well... I'm not sure to understan totally what you say.. but, using the ITEMID parameter (which solves the issue you had), what it does is precisely to "associate" the page with the "main" page (in your case, albums list.. right?) so it will show the same MODULES, etc. do you know what I mean?
the IMTEMID defines what "menu item" holds the current content, or in other words, which modules are rendered in that page... -

0Ok the player is missing again.
I have not done anything to it since it started working a week ago.
Currently, the playlist player is working ok. however, the player for the individual songs / album is missing.
I checked the ITEMID and they all are set to the same number.
And I checked the $multi setting in jwplayer.php, and it is set to false.
This message is displayed where the player would be placed if it was working: " The player will show in this paragraph ".
I reinstalled both the component and the plugin, but no player. -

0This player seems to be unstable on my site.
Where can I go to verify all the code is working for the player?
What is the best way to uninstall the player, verify all the code is gone. Then re-install it and then verify the new code is correct.
Also, Is there another player or can I use an upgraded version of this player?
My site is almost completed, but I need to get this player to work properly before I can go forward.

0The database for my Joomla may have had duplicate data because I have been installing and re-installing different app, modules and plugins.
I removed the entire joomla install and created a new database.
Everything looks to be working fine, except for the paging feature.
It still does not work correctly.
Please see my post on that.
