I have read other posts but could not find an answer. Just downloaded last week.

Example Link:
http://50.28.71.154/~face/index.php/home/music/detailed-layout-mandatory?searchword=&artist_id=&genre_id=&option=com_muscol&search=songs&view=search&Itemid=

ERROR:
Task Queue failed at step 5: Playlist could not be loaded: XML could not be parsed or playlist was empty

Any ideas?

    there are two problems:

1 - you are using WAV files which is not a playable format in Flash payers, If I'm not wrong. see this: http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/jw-player-for-flash-v5/12539/supported-video-and-audio-formats#audio
2 - there's an include to a file that is messing the XML files that feeds the player and that shoud be not included:

    xml-stylesheet href="/~face/plugins/system/modalizer/modals/colorbox/style1/colorbox.css" type="text/css"

I bet you have a plugin called modalizer or similiar, which is the one it's messing things up.

I do get the same error: "Task queue failed at step 5: playlist could not be loaded: XML could not be parsed or playlist was empty", but only on the popup window. Some playlist loads into the popup but some don't.

Whenever I restore the player everything works.

Any quick fix for this, I'm fast approaching launching date.

    Thanx!

    hi
we bought the site as it is and we found ur component by mistake since it was disabled, we sent them email asking for the purchase order ID and we will email it to you. at first we thought it is just a jplayer list before we know it's a full rich component with all these options
