Hello, I have this problem and not sure how to fix.

I have just installed "com_muscol_2.1.0_community_pro" and is having a few issues.

SEO Settings are all enable on my site and it seems this is affecting links in Music-Collections.

From my Profile when I click on the album I'm redirected but not to the correct place http://www.cakafete.com/component/muscol/c/3-lois-commodore/7-good-day.html

How do I fix that.

Thanks

I can't seem to find a way to access Music Collection...
where is the "main content" (in this case, the album info of course) supposed to show up?

the link seems to be correct, however it looks like your template is not rendering the component for some reason..

have you tried to dsiable the SEO? just to see if it works that way...

    The Main is here http://www.cakafete.com/entertainment/search.html

Its when I click from within the profile or module and yes I have tried another template and its the same and for SEO, yes I have disable it and all is fine but I need to have SEO enable.

maybe you can solve this just by using the DEFAULT ITEMID parameter (both on Music Collection parameters, and ALSO on the module parameters)

you should put in here the ID of your main Music Collection Menu item (the one which points to http://www.cakafete.com/entertainment/search.html )

    Germi,

Many Thanks for the support. Your suggestion Worked.

I'm pretty new to Music Collection and I'm sure that I will be calling on you again as I learn this program.

I have the same problem. When we activate SEO, the links to the music collection items do not work.

We read your solution for Leo51 but..

What do you mean with "Default Item ID", which value do we have do write into "Default Item ID"?

When I go to the module parameters, there is no "Default Item ID" but just "Item ID".

Please reply quickly, our Joomla-integrated SEO does not work together with MC.

Item ID is the same as Default Item ID.

this needs to be the ID of the MENU ITEM which you use to enter Music Collection from your main menu.

go to your menu manager, and look at the right column to see the menu item id

Thank you for your help, Germi, but it didn't work for us.

Can you have a look at the page and try to click on the album preview in the right column (on the HOME) and also on the page "RELEASES" and then click on an album for the single view.
We are leaving the SEO turned on for a while so that you can see.

Our main menu ItemID is 219 and we put this value into the general settings of the MC "defaultitemID" and in the module into the field itemID.

    Do you have another idea?

    Hi Germin,

sorry we have to deactivate the Jommal SEO option. So you can not longer see the problem. Because the site is life. If you need access or other information, please ask me.

    regards
