are you logged in? only registered users can add aritsts (and albums, songs) into the site.

about the modules: you have to install them. have you installed any of the modules served with the package?

If you set it up as public can anyway not upload? Also if I set it to registered is this registration through the Joomla default login module? Sorry I hadn't downloaded the modules duh !

I'm afraid not, the user MUST be logged in, otherwise music collection won't allow him to add content. this is set on purpose for security reasons..

the login can be just normal, through joomla's system or other that you're using.

Why is there a price field then? Is there no way this can be built in or achieved?

the price field is so you can indicate the price, in case you're using the "sell externally" feature (there's a field where you can place a link to redirect the users to externlly purchase the song, like on iTunes for example, but this buying process is not handled by music collection itself)

This feels like a missed essential feature. A couple more questions if I can please 1) can the little icons for social sharing etc but made larger - when you open on iPad etc the buttons are so small your fingers can hardly press them. 2) can any fields be customised so for example soundcloud links can be shown on artists details page? 1. well you can replace them for bigger icons if you have them, you will just need to replace the image files, which are located into /components/com_muscol/assets/images/bookmarks/

2. you mean to add new fields? to add new ones require to add them in the DB and in the files... however you mean like using the URL field for artists to point to soundcloud? you can do that..

can you provide instructions for the second. Also i note alot of extensions to allow payment for downloads. Can any of them be integrated musci collection?

Also I seem to be getting this screen quite a lot - it has just happened again when I tried to use the statistics evolution in time module. As soon as I assign this module to a page it comes up.
