I'm planning to build a site for songwriters, but not sure if this component will fit.

Instead of artist, I want to use the songwriter figure. Some of the begginers songwriters will show their songs demos in mp3 format, for evaluation or to hear critics by other songwriters, but not sure if we can use the 'album' to upload all the demos like a 'portfolio'

Some others also have their commercial albums, and they might want to sell or show their music on an 'album' like the default behaviour so it's ok.

There will be other roles, like producer or label record so they can see the potential songs and choose and vote their favorites but can not upload songs. Can this be achieved with MC?
