Hi,
I have spent a good hour looking into this and reading threads and I am still stuck.
When I upload in the component area add songs to album. All appears to upload and is then labeled and save correctly. However nothing plays in the player.
When I checked the songs folder it was empty with no mp3 files.
I uploaded one of the mp3 files from the album directly to the folder and it played.
Is there a reason it is not working from the album add songs area?

I have just added 16 tracks via scan folder from new folder /orig/ all added - and nothing working.

If I use /songs/ what happens when I want to add additional songs to an album or another album it will be referencing all of the songs in the folder from previously.
Please help. -

I totally missed this post :S sorry!! my fault.
It looks like a PERMISSIONS problem...
what is the permission of the /songs folder? it looks like you don't have permissions to WRITE on the songs folder... do you know what I mean? do you know how to change it?
if you don't, I can try to do it if you send me access data!

That was one of the first things I tried. I changed to 777 and still same problem.
When I select add new song. all appears ok and displays an 'Album Saved' message as if successful. but does not play and the file is not in songs folder. If I manually place in songs folder - the mp3 then plays.
