Nope. This is something that has been often requested. Hopefully germi will consider this feature in a future update. I would love to be able to assign multiple genres to an artist without having to do something like create a big long single hybrid genre entry that cant easily be searched on.

Has anyone written a hack to do this?

I might take a crack at it. It would just be a selection list instead of a drop-down and handle it as an array instead of a static field? Kinda like the related artists? Hmmm...
