I'm not sure where else to ask this so I thought this would be a good place to start.
Looking at the pic attached, how do I accomplish "stretching" the random albums module across the screen.
The module is currently loaded in user4 and I would like it to stretch across to user5 position.
I'm obviously brand new to joomla

0oh, ok.
this is just CSS
take a look at this:
http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/music-collection-extensions/random-albums-random-and-featured-albums-problem-2.html#4904
you'll need some work here.
however, since I see you're using the same template that we use you can copy our CSS files for that module, and that can save you some time.
however, keep in mind that we used the MODULE CLASS SUFIX parameters in order to set up our modules correctly (do you know what I'm talking about? if you're new to joomla this won't sound too familiar to you... -

0Thanks for the reply....where would I download copy of your CSS files? I looked in the downloads section and didn't see them.
I sort of understand the Module Class suffix. I believe its used when you want to use a custom css file for a certain page. By specifying the module class suffix it tells the module which css file to read (?)
I may be completly wrong on that...lol -

0I didnt tell you anything because, since some of you had difficulties on the CSS styling of this modules, I decided to create a new version with "automatic CSS styling".
download it here: http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/downloads/doc_details/33-random-and-featured-albums-module-charts.html?lang=en
tell me how it works -

0just select the automatic css option, and specify how many albums you want to show.
of course, with this option on, you loose in "configurability", because you cannot decide most of the CSS properties (the module "decides" for you), but on the other hand, you dont have to worry about the css at all.. jsut by parameters, everything should be fine
what I mean is that if you're an CSS EXPERT, it is always better to make the styling yourself. but if you're not, this new modules does a pretty decent job for you. but an script will never be as smart as a person.. that's what I mean
