to delete an album, just click on the checkbox on the albums list (backend) and click on the Erase button at the upper right corner. all the songs inside the album will also be erased from the database

i you only want to delete certain songs, on the album form, songs tab, check the checkbox next to each song and then click the button "delete selected songs"...
