Problems with translation

Hi,

I just bought MC 2.3 and I experience pbs with french translation.

I translate the main file en-GB.com_muscol.ini and save it in UTF-8 NOBOM format as fr-FR.com_muscol.ini in the appropriate directory.

And it works fine !

Nevertheless some labels are not translated like :

All Songs display : columns headers are still in english (Song, Album, Artist)

I think there must be other files I need to translate, could you help me to locate where are those files please ?

    no, it's all in the same file... this is strange.

    can you just try to ADD this words into the file? just add..:

    RATINGS=whatever
    COMMENTS=whatever

    etc..
    can you try that?

    Hi Germi,

    Thank you for your help !

    I had to add :

    SONG="Titre"
    REVIEW="Chronique"

    other pbs were because I missed some fields initially.

    But I still have a strange remaining pb :

    I translated RATING="Evaluation(s)"

    and it works fine if I have at least 1 rating.
    But if an artist or song is not yet rated, it displays :
    0 RATINGS (really uppercase letters)

    Is there any special field name to add for a "not yet rated" item ?

    Hi again Germi,

    I found the reason ! There are 2 fields used : RATING and RATINGS

    Everything is OK now ! B)

    I upload the french file if you want to add official support for this language ...
