problem installing plg_myalbums_cb_2.2.0_1.6.zip

I have a problem installing plg_myalbums_cb_2.2.0_1.6.zip in Joomla. It gives me the following error message:

'JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file'

what can I do to solve this? I run clean installed Joomla 1.7

this must be installed using the COMMUNITY BUILDER installer, not the Joomla installer

do you have to use community builder as i do not wish to install this as it has bad reviews and very hard to install and use and you have to pay for the community builder if you wish to make it easier is there any way around this or do use a diff community builder http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/clients-a-communities/communities/210

this is a Community Builder plugin, yes, so if you want it you NEED Community Builder.

BUT this is just an optional plugin, you don't need to install it if you don't need it!!

if you don't use CB, then just don't install this!
