player by file type

in my collection, i have three major file types, mp3 , midi and aac/3gp

i want to play aac/3gp with quick time and midis with default windows media player.

is there any option or condition i can put so the palyers are selected automatically by file extension type

    uf... not really... JW player is the only player for MC..

    ok, thanks.
    since i have diff type of song, how can i show the extension of the song files i.e mysong.mp3 instead of mysong

    well, yes.
    however, if you know some MySQL, you can write a small script to do it automatically (read the filetype and append it to the song name)
