play not working in album and artist songs views

play works neither by clicking on the green play icon nor the play button on JWplayer when I'm in album view or artist/songs.

it does only work when I navigate to a single song and click play on JWplayer.

any suggestions, please?

    tried in IE 8: songs play

    it does not work in Firefox 10.0.2, which is my standard browser

    problem solved. thanks, germi, for your troubleshooting and email advice!

    for those who want to know: there was an error in my component configuration. i had specified \\songs instead of using /songs as my music directory.
