if you want a page with only an artists module, you need to embed the module in an article ("link to module" does not exist in joomla)
so basically you create an article, and you put in there: {loadposition artists_module}
you create a menu item that links to that article
you go to module manager, create your artists menu, and place it in the position you just made up: artists_module
done.
