Germi. This isnt the first time my post was deleted a day after posting it. Can someone tell me why that happened?
None the less i am trying to stop the module i set for INTROTEXT from showing up on ALL pages of MC.
My problem is i used a module position "user13" in the MC INTROTEXT area. (Lastest Albums)
In the MC config i also set "Show Artists on MC homepage" to YES
Ok so my MC home page should show in the center
"Recent Albums" Grid Layout

"Artists" Grid layout
and thats working fine,but when i click on any one of the albums, i am lead to that albums PAGE.
But on that page, above the album info i see
THE INTROTEXT OUTPUT (Recently added albums in grid layout)
and below it i see
ARTISTS (Grid layout)
How do i stop the Intro text from showing up on other pages? I only want it to show up on the MC HOME PAGE

yes, but it is rendered by your template a second time (on it's NORMAL position)
you have to use an UNEXISTING position. I though I mentioned this
don't use user40, don't use anything preexisting
use something invented by you, for example: music1
and use it in INTROTEXT, never in MC keywords.

you had to post twice?
about your issue: it's very weird that you're seeing this on all pages.. could it be that the modules are being loaded also "outside" the introtext?

lets solve the one im having. For some reason, when hover over an album in the MC home page, its not usnig the ROOT of the url in the link

0Ok so back to my original issue.
I have an UNUSED module position which i assigned to the MC home page so i can load the LATEST ALBUMS module.
Seen here

On that page youll see Latest Dj Mixes ( at the top of the page)
This is because my module position for USER 8 - is ABOVE the component area in the template.
But the odd thing is that i have placed the code to load USER8 module, into the MC Intro text 1
Each time i do this, i end up with TWO copies of my USER8 position module showing on the MC home page.
I just want the ONE to show up in the intro text. -

No thats not what im saying
Im trying to load a module in the INTROTEXT area. The MC instructions say to use the format {loadposition user8}
so i can show my module in that position

But if i go to ANY other page inside of Music Collection, that same module will appear and i dont want it to.
Im trying to ONLY show the module ONCE in the introtext area on the HOMEPAGE of MC

I want the module to appear ONCE.

This link is supposed to show a SONG that belongs to an ALBUM on the component,
On this page im only trying to show the SONG with its information but youll see at the top of the page is also show the ALBUMS MODULE.
The reason is
When i have this module assigned to the INTROTEXT of Musicollection, it appears EVERYONE in the component instead of ONLY on the main page.
Whats going on here? -

0ok then this is the problem!
you are NOT using INTROTEXT. you are using this as a separate module, and it's showing on "mc page"
all pages are linked to MC homepage, so it shows in ALL!
if you want to show ONLY on the main page, then you must use the Introtext area... that's why it's for!

Also, it shows again at the top of the page each time you click an album in CHRONOLOGY

but, again, you are using loadposition on a meta keywords field..!
that will not work, this is rendered in the HEAD of the HTML document.. actually it can be a problem to render it there
that's why it's showing on every page! do you understand what I'm saying?
this is actually the problem.
you can to use this on INTROTEXT field, not in META KEYWORDS field... -

0wait, i almost had it. I changed the module to use a postion of (user40)
I thought this fixed it but now its showing a secondary time at the bottom of all the MC page.

Im not getting this, How can i stop this from happening?
user40 IS a module position in the site but hte ONLY place its being used is for this module.
The instructions say to use a module position that is NOT being currently used.
If i assign the module to user40 then NOW its being used by this module so,,,,,,,what gives?
