Intro text displays nothing

Followed instruction on how to customize home page...

"Go to Music Collection administration area, and open the parameters (button on the top right corner)
Among all the conifugration params, there are two text fields called INTROTEXT1 and INTROTEXT2. These are free fields that are rendered in the homepage, before and after the search bars. You can write all you want in there, including HTML code."

I can load modules in here but text does not display at all. Both introtext1 +2 displays no text?

    this osunds very strange... it should of course display the text as well.

    what's ALL the text you have in here? including modules

    I took the modules out and just typed "Intotext" for a test but still nothing.

    Performed a fresh install with only basics...

    com_muscol_2.0.0_community_pro
    com_muscol_upgrade_200_to_210_community
    plg_jwplayer_2.1.1

    ...and still the same issue, no text displayed.

    Do I have to put the text in html tags or something?

    no, you don't.
    this looks weird..
    can you go to the MENU ITEM parameters, and try to put the text in there?

    I'm running a local copy there is no live site yet. Please give me a few minutes to set up a server with a fresh install.

    I have community pro v2.0... is there anyway I can get a complete package containing all latest stable versions so I don't have to keep upgrading?
