Hi germi, would you please help me out of this error "Task queue failed at step 5". I have found some posts about this error, but after a long try, I still can't resolve it.

In my site, the html5 player works fine in playlist mode and also song mode. but with the browsers like firefox which doesn't support html5 player. I get directly "Task queue failed at step 5: playlist could not be loaded" in playlist mode, and in song mode, i can see the player, but it can't play correctly the music.

here is the lien:

thank you

    hello!

well, it seems like the problem is that FireFox is having problems playing files with chinese characters in the filename (this is chinese, right?):

    http://www.sohfrance.org/songs/大唐的記憶/01-大唐的记忆.mp3

I think I can try a little fix to avoid this, but I would need FTP access to your site.
can you provide this? our email is joomlamusicsolutions@gmail.com

    Hello

Same error here, I guess my host changed some settings because the player was working some days ago and is now showing that error message.
Also now all the Muscol php NOTICE messages are showing and there are a lot!

Anyway would you mind sharing this fix here? It would make this forum somehow usefull.

    Thank you

well the cause for the error is the same as the notices. the error reporting level is too high (way to high!) so you have to decrease it. you can do it in the Joomla backend, on the main configuration optins -> set the error reporting to none.

So unless there is another place to look...
