Component Installation

I am having trouble installing the component. When I upload the component, it seems like it is complete but I get a black screen. When I refresh the screen I am back to the administrator panel, but the component was not installed. So I try to install the component again, it is showing that it already exist. So i thought that it could be the temp path in my global settings but that is set right....Any thoughts??

    well, the problem could be a couple things:
    - is your php short_open_tags variable set to ON?
    - what's the upload max filesize?

    if it says it's created that's because the folder where created.. you need to delete them in order to reinstall.

    The component is working, thanks for the advice on changing the post_max_size variable. After adjusting the size it worked just fine.
