Is the read more button meant for inserting long texts about an artist.
If so how does it work ?
I have tried using it and it just inserts a line not a read more link as I would have expected.
Kind regards
Gates

0The problem is MC does not support content plugins, so it will not work even though its a default part of joomla. There are a few topics around on the forum about how to enable content plugins so they can be used, though you have to edit every view you want them to be used in. Should be able to find them with a quick search. Hopefully one day this will be a default option in MC. Here is wishing B)
EDIT: Here is the main topic on how to do this: http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/suggestions/support-for-joomla-plugins.html -

0Unfortunately not unless you edit the code on the back end first, most likely on the artist view, so that the bio text field allows the content plugin. Once you do that then you can use the read more button as normal. The link I posted above will give you a general idea on how to do it, but it does take a little php know how.
If your not familiar with editing code, you can always put in a suggestion for a new feature request on the forums and there might be a possibility germi will add it sometime in the future. In the topic above http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/forum/suggestions/support-for-joomla-plugins.html#7971 he mentioned this would be added in a future version, but I have not heard of any status as to when. -
