Hi,
How can I allow guests to be able to create a new album and upload music? Right now it says "You are not authorized to add albums". My site will be password protected in other ways so I am not concerned with any security risks.

0I'm afraid you can't. not out of the box.
there is a strict base-security that the first thing that does is to check that the user is registered before he can create content.
if you want to get ride of this you need code modifications on the "check permissions" file. it's not something easy.. not something you should do yourself unless you are really familiar with Joomla programming!
we can do it for you as custom coding work if you want to..!
