there's no local video option, only YouTube video integration

if you want to have a local video, you'll have to use the field for the "audio" file (video file will work as well)

It supports playback of any format the Adobe Flash Player can handle (FLV, H.264, MP4, MP3, AAC, JPG, PNG and GIF).

Here is a breakdown of everything the flash player supports: http://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/wiki/player5formats

Yes, but how can I allow to jPlayer to show videos? 'Cause my Jplayer allows you to listen to the mp3s but not to show videos.
    For example: http://lnx.coldplayzone.it/index.php?option=com_muscol&view=album&id=38&Itemid=299&lang=it

If you click on 'Play' near 'Amsterdam' in that page, you could listen the audio part of the video but you cannot see the video itself. You have to right-click on the player, selecting 'toggle fullscreen' to see the video... how can i solve this?

I have no experience with this player, so it could be a silly question... but everyone you could help me will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That player doesn't have a video window shown, only the control bar. You would need to go into the jw player plugin settings and change the dimensions to show the window. Something like changing the height from 20 to 270. Basically what your width is set to + 20 for the control bar if you want a square.

You could use the jw player wizard to find the right dimensions or to play with the player layouts. http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player-setup-wizard

The only downside of this is that your window will show up full size on every page. Another alternative might be just to use the jw player module.

Thank you so much! It works properly, but is there a chance to have the player able to show the video when there's a real video and not everytime, even if there's an mp3 only?

I assume you could always use the flash player to display the album's cover artwork instead of the cover artwork box that is already there. That way there is always a flash box there. Showing the album artwork when it is not playing a video.

I'm not a programmer so couldn't say for sure. I am guessing it would take a little code work or some custom programming.

I don't get it. I'm trying to add a video in flv format which is supposedly supported. I add it as a song, but it doesn't display. It uploads, but only the audio plays. How is it that I can get a video to work?
