When "Search Engine Friendly URLs" are turned off, everything seems to work okay.
However, when "Search Engine Friendly URLs" are turned on, I get 404 errors with your component.
I have about 20 other components for Joomla installed that work great, so I know it isn't an issue with my set-up. There is something wrong with your component.
Can you please help me figure out what is going on?
I put the system plugin in the last position, and also put in the Default ItemId. So, I followed your instructions when setting up the component.
Once again, every other component that I have (over 20) works fine. Only your component has a problem with "SEF URLs".
Can you please help me fix this?

0After testing it some more, this is what I discovered.
With "SEF URLs" turned on (in Global Configuration), when I try to add anything (Add Song, Add Album, Add Artist, etc.), the SAVE button gives me the 404 error. However, the CANCEL button goes to the Music Collection Home Page (as it is supposed to).
The 404 problem ONLY exists with your SAVE button. -

0You need to follow every step of the installation instructions: https://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/music-collection/installation
otherwise nothing will work -

0Basically, when I click the SAVE button on any page (with SEF URLs turned on), it tries tries to go to the Home Page at "http://DOMAIN-NAME.com/podcasts/index.php". (Podcasts is my Menu Header)
It can't find the index.php that I have defined in my Music Collection "Default ItemId". When SEF URLs are turned of, it goes to that Home Page that I have defined in "Default ItemId".
I have gone through the instructions again, and followed them step by step.
Every other Music Collection component button works perfectly. I only have the problem with the SAVE button on any page (which leads me to believe it's an issue with the coding on the SAVE button).
Can you please help? If I am doing something wrong, then please tell me. I really want this Component to work. -

0Thank you so much. It appears to be working now. I'm going to test it more tomorrow.
Will this be something that will be updated in the next version of your component?
Or is this something that was fixed only for my server?
(And if it was only fixed for my server, could you tell me what change I need to make? Just in case I have to un-install and re-install your component for some reason?)
Thank you again!
