Download Problem

hi

anyone who downloads from our website has a problem for mp3's more than 5 MB the download finishes before its actual size.for example if I download a file size of 19 MB it only downloads 6mb or 8 mb or if during downloading connection loses it starts downloading from starting.


My php Values are

upload_max_filesize = 1500M
max_input_time = 1000
memory_limit = 640M
max_execution_time = 1800
post_max_size = 2000M

    I just tried and had no problem, I could download the 19MB right away with no problems.
    Maybe its a limitation on your server or your connection.
    All I can do if you want is to change the download link to be a "direct" download link.

    Sir then please change the download link to direct may be this work for me & i don't think its server or Connection problem becoz for testing purpose so i installed word press for same server & uploaded a large file (25mb) and after that easily download full file.................

    I just changed the link to "direct" link.
    But again, I tried the download in normal mode and had no problem.

    Then why i m suffering with that problem?......................... i think that trick worked for me....................can u tell me how can i switch between Normal mode or direct download mode..............

    it's a modification I made on the code.. you would need to access the code for that...

    I don't know why you're experiencing the problem, but when I say that it must be something on the server or the connection, I say it because have thousands of users using Music Collection and you're the first one ever to report this... so it can't be the software...

    it's file /components/com_muscol/helpers/helpers.php on line 419.

    You will see I added comment "new for Vikrant"- that's the new line.

    Sir thats fine.............i found so many zip folders in my songs directory there are so many files for single album & i guess that uses my database so what should i do for those files....................if i delete those files what happen
