I use invoice manager only internally to easily get the invoices done and tracked, so when some of my clients pay an invoice, I go to the backend and I manually change the state of the invoice to "paid". Same happens when one of my quotes is accepted, I change the status from "pending" to "accepted". I think it would be really useful having a way of changing the state of the invoice and the state of the quotes from the overview list.

Actually regarding invoices what it would be really cool is if when adding a payment of the same amount of the invoice, it gets automatically marked as paid ;)

hello Carlos,

I'm thinking that maybe the problem is related to "round up" decimals. could you try to make the payment have a value of 655,22 instead of 655,21 ?
what happens then?

    well, for invoices, that's why the option "automatically compute status" is for... so you don't have to do it manually.

    Sorry for my delay in answering back but I've waiting to reproduce the problem. Attached you may find file Selection_039.png with the invoices view and Selection_041.png with Payments view where you can see it.

    "Automatically compute stauts" is enabled in my site, but it's not working properly. This is what I did:


    • Invoice with ID=15 had a payment not checked as paid (the default one) and I added a new payment for the full amount with status paid and removed the default one and it worked like a charm. Status was set to paid.
    • In invoice with ID=2 I just edited the default payment, added the full amount of the invoice and marked the payment as paid.


    Can you reproduce the error?

    Also I would appreciate if you remove the screenshots after you see them or make this post private.

    Sorry to re-open this but I do have been able to reproduce the issue.

    I marked the payment as "paid" yesterday night and it was not updated. Today I increased the payment amount to 1 cent more and the invoice is not yet automatically marked as paid as you may see in the attached screenshot.

    PS: Please remove screenshot from the forum when you are done checking it.
