I have a few pre-sales questions:
Is it possible to group items on an invoice together so that they can be separated into categories?
Can your product list be grouped into categories?
Is there any way to create estimates that can be easily converted into invoices later? (It could be as simple as just having an alternate template and changing the number from "inv-1002" to "qte-1002".)
Does your invoice manager and expense manager components interact so that, when a payment is received for an invoice, it is automatically recorded in the expense manager?
Is there an administrator demo available?

0Hello,
there are no "categories" in invoice manager's items... so, no, there is no grouping by categories in product list or inside invoices. that would require custom coding.
about estimates: as you say yourself, you can simply use a different template and change the number manually, but in any case, there's no internal "differentiation" between them (they would still be listed in the same list, and there's no "convert to invoice" function, if that's what you're asking)
about integration between IM and EM: no, not for now, sorry.
