have you created a payment for that particular invoice? invoices must contain "payments", which are the payable part.

my apologies i spoke out of place

    awesome response

    yes i created a payment
    the full invoice is 5000.00

client needs to make monthly payments

in the invoice i set up and item for the full amount
payments i set up a payment due, but would i need to set up a separate payment for each monthly payment, right now i did,
recurrency is set to yes, a date and send invoice

i did not get an email with an invoice to pay
and on the frontend it shows my history but not the new payment due or a button to make the payment

I can let you in to see if this is set up correctly

its an awesome component, i just need the config

      more than a month ago
if you want please send me access to support@ joomlathat.com
just, please re-check one more time.. if there is a payment set for that invoice (and it is not marked as paid), then the PAY NOW button will appear on the invoice page (and also on the invoice list page) on the frontend.

    your right its there

so now all i need is to know how to set up recurring correctly

and make sure the emails go out
so if the total is 5000.00

and they want to pay 250.00 per month until it is paid off
    using recurring payment automatically

    hello,

the payment method with be automaticaly filled out when the payment is made, you don't need to pre-set it.

payments will get set to paid when paid online, yes...
