When the status of an invoice is set to "Past due date" and you pay it with Paypal it redirects you back to the screen with the "Payment options" and it presents a message at the top that says "Payment process not completed" but it marks it Paid anyways even though it gives that error.
When you pay an invoice with the status of "Within payment term" everything works perfectly and it takes you back to the screen that says "Payment completed".
I have attached some screenshots so you can see what I mean.

0it probably does not have anything to do with the status, but with the "response time" from PayPal.
Sometimes the response from PayPal take a little longer to be arrive and that's why you may get (only in very few occasions, usually) the "not completed" message.. because the payment notification hasn't arrived yet. what can be done if you want is to simply remove this message to avoid confusion. -

Germinal Campsmore than a month agoit will need to be a small change on the code. are you ok with modifying code?
in any case, have you had a chance if this issue happened to you again? as I mentioned, it should really not happen if hte PayPal response time is "normal" (immediate)
