Hi

We do use recurrency for each customer. Sometimes with any reason had seen sometimes our invoices beeing duplicated for the same customer or even generated some times (2, 3 or even 4 times) with any reason.

I wonder if it is bug or database error

Could you please tell us how to fix ?

    Hi

    We still have this problem and it bothers customers when happens cause they do receive duplicated invoices with different numbering and we do have to create a correct invoce at our accounting to compensate.

    I wonder if there's anyone that found the same problem and how to solve.

    No answer ? We did purchased and renew 2 times this app. If no fix we will not renew it, when you are a member are we supposed to get support or at least answer to our questions ?

    Thanks for your answer.

    We do recurrent invoices. Joomla! 3.9.19 and invoice manager 3.2.3

    With no reason recurrent invoices are generated 2 or 3 times. Ex. you do have a recurrent invoice once a moth and the next moth the invoice is done 2-3 times (with the correct numbering)

    I did sent screen capture for some of those invoices when I did open the thread.

    the reason for this is uncertain, but it could be related to some page requests in the frontend, as the plugin for generating recurring invoices is triggered in the frontend as well as in the backend.
    first solution I can think of is to make the plugin only to trigger the action when the backend is accessed - this way we should avoid the current issue.
    I'm attaching a modified version of the plugin, you can install this one.

    Ok we will install and test it.

    I did not receive the mail for this ticket so, sorry I did not saw your response until today.

    Today all the invoices done were duplicated. What is so extrange is why this happens only sometimes, fronted is not accesed usually to check the invoices, cause are sent by mail and almost all customers are charged on their bank account direcly (no online payment).

    I'll keep you informed.

      I don't understand.. this makes no sense to me.
      The only way I see this can be fixed is by not using the recurring plugin, and instead, to set up a Cron Job in your server that will execute the logic once a day

      Do you have a way to create cron jobs in your website?

    Yes we can create cron jobs ourselves if you tell us what to do

    The server is at our own datacenter and we do manage it. Is Linux ubuntu server but creating crons ourselves would be a headache cause each customer has different recurring date.
