Hi guys,
I have a few concerns
i bought this only for virtuemart so related questions are.
1. When I installed it there were so many order in my virtuemart already, why don't they show up in invoices because it doesn't make sense. After installing your software the future order will show up only, thats weak programming I would say
2. when someone order on frontend of virtuemart, the order does not show in frontend because in backend it appears as unpublished, why is that? in this case we'll have to manually come to our thousands of orders and publish them one by one? again very weak

I hope you can resolve these asap

Regards
Jennifer Franklin

    Hi there,

I have figured out the auto publish invoice part(should have been in your documentation somewhere) but question 1 still remains
another questions is, just we have 25000 user on our virtuemart store, how do you think we are going to transfer them to your invoicemanager contacts? this needs atleast 4 months for one person to finish . right?
I like you products but the integration with VM is terrible so far
I hope you can answer that please

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    1. The new invoice creation works for new orders in VM, it won't import the older ones. to allow this you would need some kind of script that would look through all the DB and make a bulk import of all the pre-existing orders in VM...

    2. when you say "the order does not show in frontend" I'm guessing you mean "the invoice...". in the VM invoice manage plugin there's an option that is called "Automatically publish new invoices". You need to turn it to ON.

(ok, I just saw that you found this out ;) )

    3. no, not right...

you DON'T need to import your customers (25K) into Invoice Managaer, that would mean to have simply duplicated entries (times 25k), it would be a huge waste of space and resources. What Invoice Manager does is that it permits to import the VM contact data directly into the invoice if you're creating the invoices manually. By installing the "virtuemart - search" plugin you will be able to look into VM's contact Database directly when creating an invoice.
(please be sure to use version 1.0.3 of this plugin which we just upgraded because it had a small bug)

please let me know if that helps you.
