Syntax error with fresh installation Bug

Hello

I just installed the latest version of Joomla (3.6.4) and invoices manager pro (2.1.2). I installed and activated all plug-ins but when I go to components > invoices manager I get the following message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in xxxxx/invoices/administrator/components/com_invoices/views/invoices/tmpl/default_menu.php on line 22

I've installed invoices manager on another local server before and never had any problems.

What could be causing that please?
