send quote not working and email notification enquiry

Hi,

Firstly my send quote button within the admin (when selecting a quote first) and then clicking 'send quote' displays a blank white page and the quote is not sent.

Also id like to enquire about email notifications, currently when a invoice/quote or payment is created within admin, there is no notification of this sent to the user at all, is this right? how your system works?

The only time the user is emailed, is when the admin selects 'send invoice' and then the invoice is sent within the email text, I would prefer the email to consist of a nice friendly message and a link to the invoice on the website, I would think that there should be a email notification on invoice creation with this, im thinking these email notifications are not working correctly for me?

    hello,

    the "send quote" issue you mention is definitely not normal. Probably it has to do with some bad code on the template, but we would have to look at it to see if that's the case.

    as for "notifications", our latest versions of Invoice Manager include a new column "sent" that display the date when the email was sent for the last time. is that what you're asking for? what version of IM are you running currently?

    as for the "nice text" to include in the email, that's something not currently available on Invoice Manager, but we're working on adding it to a new version (nicest emails)

    Hi, Thanks for your response!

    Yes please can you take a look at why the send quote button is displaying a blank white page, its in the admin/backend, so its the default joomla admin template im using, do you want me to send access?

    Regarding notifications, when an invoice or quote are created and/or due, is there an email that is sent to the client notifying them of this?

    im running version 1.4.2

    I meant the INVOICE template, not the joomla template.

    No, email is a separate function you need to trigger (click) to be sent whenever you want.

    I recommend you to update to our latest version 1.4.4
