PDF file not showing logo

Hi there
I have a problem in that my logo is not showing up on the PDF anymore. I saw on another post that it could be a permission issue - can you help met figure it out please?

    can you check that the PHP variable "allow_url_fopen" is set to ON ?

    I was advised to put it off for security reasons. Can you explain why I need it and if I put it on again, will it mean that I am at risk of bein g hacked?

    It needs to be enabled because the PDF library uses this function to actually "gather" images from URLs. if it can access the image with this method, it won't display.
