Invoice Status Update

I did a test run on one of my invoices I created and sent the email to myself. I clicked the "pay now" link, and followed through the remaining steps paying with paypal. The payment went through, but the invoice status never changed. It is still showing the amount paid as $0.00 and the status as "Pending". Is there something I am missing? I do have the Invoice Status set to auto in the Configuration Options, is there something in my PayPal account that I need to change?

    did you do this in localhost? it's possible that the PayPal notification did not arrive to your website if you're in localhost.. it's normal.. it won't happen on a live site.

    did you use paypal sandbox, or normal method?
    did you complete the payment "totally"?

    Normal method. Yes all the way through. I paid using a debit card via paypal. Paypal gave the completion message and it just sat there. I clicked return to Prime Art House and when our site refreshed it said payment incomplete. But the funds did go through

      it is possible that the paypal notification take some time. it's not the usual thing, but it can happen. your site is not protected by password is it?

    Ok, I just did a sandbox test and it worked! So I guess something in my PayPal account is not configured properly. Your thoughts?

    Do I need to have the IPN Messages enabled in my PayPal account? If so, what web page does it need to go to?

    well, the IPN needs definitely to be activated, but you don't need to tell it what page to go, because the pay form request does that for you...
